The Best robot vacuum that mops Hoover

The most effective robot vacuum with mop vacuum will sweep and automatic vacuum and mop your floors without your involvement. It will also leave the floors spotless. Its low cost and top-of-the-line features (such as dirt detectors) are positives.

Be sure to examine the brushes of your robot for hair that is tangled as well as large debris and clean them as required. Certain models also automatically empty the onboard dust bin and place it in an additional bin located at the base. This helps reduce the amount of fine dust released into the air.

1. Roomba Q5 Pro

The Q5 Pro, and its more expensive sibling the Q7 Max Series are among the most powerful robotic vacuums we have tested. They have top-of-the-line motors that can generate up to 5,500 Pascals of suction force. Similar to other iRobots that are premium (including the most powerful model) they utilize smart mapping to create detailed floorplans that avoid obstacles like furniture legs. The robots also feature a feature called Carpet Boost that increases its power when it detects dirt on the carpet.

The Q5 and Q7 Max Series both scored extremely well in our tests of floors with no carpet, and they are particularly adept in cleaning hair from dogs. However, they do have a few flaws that keep them from being our top pick. For instance, the Q5's navigation doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance which means it's susceptible to become entangled in shoes and socks and can't navigate tight spaces very well in our tests. Also, it doesn't have cameras that let it see the corners of the room.

It's still a great deal, especially if your office or home has a lot of bare floors and you're looking to save money. It's also extremely quiet and works while you are at work or school. It doesn't have the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming that is offered by the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective when it comes to mopping. It relies on disposable wet wipes, which don't stick very well and cannot handle dried-on debris. The Q5 does have a self-emptying dock, though. If you're required to mop, the mopping pad can be changed for a wet one in seconds.

2. IRobot Roomba

The iRobot Roomba X30 packs impressive vacuuming and mopping capabilities into a compact, sleek package. Its smart cleaning maps and fluid navigation make it simple to clean and effective in tackling larger particles like pet hair. It also has an impressive suction system and a self-emptying bin. It's the most efficient robotic hoover for carpets, but it isn't as effective as some of its competitors when it comes to deep cleaning.

This top-performing combination vacuum and mop utilizes advanced sensors to stay clear of obstacles and pet waste, and it will learn your home's layout over time for more efficient cleaning. You can change its cleaning schedule and customize zones with the well-designed app. Its battery life is average in comparison to similar models.

You can tell the X30 Ultra to remove its mops and extend them when in a room with carpet, which helps prevent cross-contamination. Its flex arm is perfect to get under furniture with low levels and along baseboards. It's not as effective on the washboard as our other Editors' Choice Picks, the Ecovacs Ozmo N8Pro+ and the iRobot Combo j9+.

During testing, the X30 Ultra was the fastest robot vacuum/mop in the market to clean an entire home, and it did so with only 66 percent of its battery left. It did a decent cleaning job on various flooring and rooms with different flooring types including certain area carpets. Its obstacle detection was top-notch, and it nimbly avoided fake dog socks, turds, shoes, and bundles of cables.

It's more expensive than iRobot Combo v9+ or iRobot Roomba j9+ but it has superior suction and an onboard bin that is automatically empty into the base. It also supports voice commands via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It can also clean the floor even after it vacuums. This is a feature that we haven't seen before on other robotic vacuum/mop combinations.

3. Roomba X40 from iRobot

With an elegant, circular design that looks like a regular Roomba than the competition's compact models, this robot vacuum and mop combo is one of the most attractive looking models in our evaluations. The newest model from iRobot happens to be its smartest and has advanced features like enhanced dirt detection technology and future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can autonomously wash mop pads).

It's the only robotic mop or vacuum to score 100% in our evaluations thanks to a blend of high-tech sensors, including cameras, a structured light system and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra was the only robot we tested that could refill and empty its basestation on its own. It also boasted a suction of 12,000Pa as well as self-cleaning mops.

As with other iRobot models like the X40 is easy to use, offering a simple mobile app interface as well as integration with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit as well as Google Assistant. The only downside is that the X40 is still a noisy unit. This could be a problem in mornings prior to work or in the evening when you are trying to sleep.

It's also a bit expensive, although it's not as pricey as the Ecovacs X2 Omni or the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra both of which are equally powerful and look better. This is a two-in-one vacuum that is very efficient however, it will cost you more and produce more noise.

4. iRobot Roomba L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a top-of-the-range robot vacuum cleaner reviews vacuum and mop, with a variety of sophisticated features that let you get rid of your chores. Like Ecovacs the range-topping X2 Omni and Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra, the L20 is designed to be a hands-off cleaning machine that takes charge of both mopping and vacuuming. It comes with a multifunction dock that automatically empty the vacuum's dust bin, fills its water tank, and cleans and dry its mop pads.

The smart robot employs an array of LIDAR and structured light to draw out the floor plan and detect obstacles, making it more efficient than some of its premium competitors. It also has a camera mounted on the front for real-time hazard detection however, it wasn't reliable in our tests and was occasionally confused by power cords or other obstructions.

Its vacuum cleaner has an maximum suction of 7,000 Pascals which is more than sufficient to complete the task. It also features "Intelligent Dirt Detection", which regulates the intensity at which the vac works and alters the frequency of cleaning for various areas of the house according to how dirty they tend to be.

If you own a larger home, you should consider selecting a model with a spot or zone cleaning mode. This lets you instruct the robot on which part of your house needs to be cleaned using the app or voice command. A stairway mode is useful if you own a large furniture. Additionally a recharge and resume feature that allows your robot vacuum to pick up right where it left off is ideal for busy families.

iRobot RX3

The RX3 is more sophisticated than its price would suggest. It has a great vacuuming performance, picking up 55% debris in our tests. (It was second to the Roomba Q5 Pro). It also mops using a single pad that uses an oscillating motion that cleans better than most of the other robot mop cleaners we've tested. It's self-sufficient too, with a full-featured app and an auto-emptying washable base.

The iRobot app is designed to guide you through the mapping process that collects data on your floorplan as well as any "no go" areas that you've marked on the map. It can be used to create cleaning schedules, or to create a spot-clean. You can also use it to prioritize your dirtiest areas for greater efficiency. The app also provides access to a host of options, including seasonal suggestions, custom maps and advanced settings for your cleaning.

It also has the ability to reach corners and under furniture more easily because its shape is more rectangular. It features a powerful 8,000 Pascal suction and intelligent combs to remove pet hair. And you can set up a spot cleaning that scours a specific area.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD is a sleeker and cheaper alternative to the iRobot Roomba. It has a more attractive style, much like Dolce & Gabbana. The twin cameras are designed like adorable eyes. It does a good job vacuuming but is more prone to getting caught on low thresholds and is more noisy than the other top robotic vacuums we've examined. It also has a less user-friendly app and a tiny base station that can't be used as an emptying bin.
