World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like Crit chance and damage from PvE.

For instance, a weapon with the upgrade template that ends in % will gain an attack damage of 3% each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

Item upgrading costs crests and the current level of the item. The cost rises with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be put into armor, weapons, and trinkets to give a stat bonus or extra effect while they're in use. They can be acquired through crafting, buying from vendors trading, or looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components are only available to devices that have slots. The item must be at least upgraded to a blue level before a component can be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other mods, can only be applied once. They cannot be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and enrichments are a special kind of upgrade component that is that is used to upgrade non-amulet ascended or legendary equipment and some of the back items that are not ascending. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment from the ascended state or completing a mission in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix may be added to an upgrade, which alters the name of the item it is used on (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' is changed to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players to make stronger versions of the equipment that require less Upgrade Crystals than are required to reach the same upgrade level through normal methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can change the attack or defence attributes of an armored weapon or. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be crafted at the Portative Forging Station. They can be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear or by purchasing them in the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals each.

The player is able to have the maximum of five boost upgrades at one time. Each upgrade increases the probability that a better-quality version of the item will appear during the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their equipment even when they're not sure how much it will be improved after an update.

The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process could be costly and there is a substantial risk that the item may be obsolete or even break when it fails; a unsuccessful upgrade could cause the destruction of Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. This is reduced by the availability of cash shop items to double or even eliminate chance of failure, as well as some upgrades that offer a bonus when reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs boost the power of all nodes within a radius around them and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways. We recommend upgrading them as fast as possible up to 15 levels.

In the final game you'll find that the most effective way to upgrade your gear is by placing Glyphs. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded straight to level 15, and they provide significant boosts to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to get higher nodes more quickly.

Glyphs, the only upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and replaced again, are the most common. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and then re-install.

Each Glyph has a specific range of values that it can improve a stat by, and the value is shown when you select the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph that is the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs you will require them to be put on your gear. Each Glyph will grant a distinct bonus that will boost the stats of a particular set of nodes in the vicinity of the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs boost all nodes connected to them, so it is Best item upgrade to put Glyphs in strategic places on the Graph. This will increase the impact. For instance an Druid should try to place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes however, you may also want to consider placing them near critical damage nodes as well.

Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to improve the effectiveness of certain items by placing upgraded components into them. This is commonly known as "upping". Each upgradeable item comes with an amount that determines its upgraded stats. Upgraded items may be leveled up to a maximum of 385. Each level of item requires different components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained from finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or purchased from some NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe earns a number of Technology Points. These points can be used to level the item. Once enough points are earned, the upgrade will be claimed and the additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades an item, the base item is replaced by a new item of the same type. This means that the same armor piece will become a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will also have a unique bonus. This can be a downside in that the item could be more expensive even if you don't need it.

If the player has enough tokens they can roll the upgrade of their item. The item will be replaced with an entirely new item that has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This is useful for certain items, however it shouldn't be done regularly, as it could waste many resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled multiple times, increasing their value and allowing the player to customize their gear. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an advantage when a player repeatedly enters and leaves the water (or swims like a dolphin). This item can be upgraded multiple times by increasing the maximum roll every time by 10 increments. This item is extremely useful in PvP battles, since a perfectly rolled version of it can be worth between 20 and 50x its non-upp'd value.

Requirements

Item upgrading allows players to upgrade the quality of their equippable equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets above ilvl 385--by presenting the appropriate currency and items to an NPC that upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces improve the strength of their base defense and upgrades to weapon items boost their base damage and also increase their strength and dexterity.

Each item upgrades can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception for hero equipment, which is able to be upgraded eight times. Each time you upgrade an object it has a chance of failing. The rate of failure increases as you go over the maximum number. Failures will cause the item upgrader mod to return to its original state and the player having to spend additional items than if they stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.

The item also loses any bonuses it gained, such as crit chance attack damage, other effects (such as an increase in healing over time or reloading speed). However, the user can still continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to the highest. This means that should a weapon gain an increase in the chance of crit it will be applied prior to any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand-new attribute that was added to the definitions of items. The value is recalculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating as well as the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading equipment that is not premium is equal to its value. For example, a common item might have five upgrades at a cost of. 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items have a lower cost per upgrade.

Premium items could have different upgrade requirements than regular gear. For example, they may need less sowels, however they may require more minerals and orons. Regardless, the player must visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade.
