World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

item upgrading (Emseyi says) allows players to boost the gear score of an item upgrader mod to 700, and then add an additional perk. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you take them to the Kiln.

Certain items can be upgraded to benefit from their unique stats (like perfect made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) while other items, such as weapons do not change significantly after an upgrade, so they aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can increase their numerical stats, including attack damage, crit chance and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons have a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. Additionally there are many weapons with a set bonus which is activated when three or more of the same weapon is present on a unit. In some instances, this bonus could add up to more than the amount of damage a weapon is able to upgrade on its own.

The cost of upgrading a weapon's capabilities is contingent on the rarity of the weapon and its current level. For instance, a +2 weapon requires two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade the gun will increase until it requires more Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.

Upgrading weapons will also reroll their base stats. While this is usually an excellent thing, it can have some negative consequences too. Upgrades can make items inaccessible, unless you're extremely lucky.

Armor items can also be upgraded to improve their performance. In the case of chests or helms this will increase its defense base while gloves and belts will improve their required strength and dexterity. Armor has a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense%. This means that it may roll down to a lower value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will show the new stats that it will gain after upgrading, along with the values of these stats. This means that an upgrade from an 8 attack-damage sword to an 11-attack-damage sword will result in the weapon gaining 33% attack damage. The 3% doesn't mean that the weapon will hit three times less, since it is an absolute number.

Rerolling a weapon is also possible by pressing the green button in the item upgrade menu with the circling arrows. This will roll the item upgrader mod and change its stats, but it won't reset the weapon's level or tie it to the account status.

Armor

A few tweaks to your armor can make huge differences in your ability to survive. Certain sets offer massive increases in poison or curse, fire or magic resistance, which can make traversing tough areas a breeze. In general, the more defense you have for your character, the greater health you will gain from each point. So, it's best to upgrade your armor.

To upgrade your armor, head to any of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four of them and each one requires you to complete a specific side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed your main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you'll be able to talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.

The amount of materials needed to upgrade each piece of armor will vary. It is possible to use anything from three Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees to upgrade the first armor piece, and between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns to upgrade the next one. For instance, the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep pace with a decent-sized group of enemies in the majority of cold climates and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded to +20 defense, providing you enough protection to survive the full-on assault with a few of your friends.

It's important to note that armor cannot be upgraded the same way as weapons, so you'll need to work on enhancing it to increase physical power if you're a Warrior or Spell Power in the case of a Mage. It's also worthwhile to save your armor upgrades for armor you'll wear at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield, or the helmet you use for the final boss battle as well as the Monter Parts merchant's mask.

You can also gain benefits to your armor by presenting the jeweler at Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. You'll generally want to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game. For instance, the Longsword or Battleaxe. But it's useful to have a few upgrades to the armor on your chest and helmets to let you get around a few monsters.

Potions

Potions are substances in bottles that, when consumed, give the user the illusion of status for a few minutes. There are five kinds of potions, each having specific effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to enhance their effectiveness. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by adding redstone dust and glowstone dust.

Potion upgrades cost a specific amount of XP. This can be earned by crafting them on a crafting table or the chest of the Alchemist. The upgrade price varies depending on the type of potion and the item's rarity as well as Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion, right-click on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open a GUI where you can choose the potions you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they'll yield when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches up to five at a time and their XP will be added to the total amount of XP you have.

Once a poton is upgraded, it will not degrade unless you make use of it again or break the bottle in which it is kept. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will allow you to change its name.

There were a few updates to potion mechanics in version 1.7.2. For instance splash potions now have an average duration of 0:08 (this is not the same as the 22.5 seconds displayed on the hover display for the item upgrader). The table of potion can now be constructed using four Wood Planks and two Glass. It can be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons, as is the case with Java Edition. Additionally, using a potentio on a full cauldron, it drains the potion and refills the bottle.

Lastly, there are now lingering potions that are made using splash and dragon breath potions. Redstone can also be added to lingering potions to enhance their effects. The potion table is now organized more closely to the Java Edition, and new potions were added such as the potion of leaping and the decomposition potion, and turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket can be an ornament that is small and inexpensive or piece of jewelry. It can also refer to an ornament or object that serves a function but isn't important such as a thimble. In certain traditions, trinkets are used to symbolize friendship or affection, especially between family members.

In addition to armor, weapons and potions, players are able to upgrade their trinkets. They can be upgraded by visiting an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate currency. Trinkets unlike other items that can be upgraded can be traded at will without losing stats.

Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of each zone, and in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are available using tokens, gold, or fragments from rare trinkets.

The upgrade of a trinket can be an economical alternative to buying new ones. You can upgrade a trinket for as little 12 tokens. The new trinket comes with the same base level as the old trinket, but it also comes with an additional 1% bonus upgrade.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded once the old ones are not needed and allows players to boost their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players which makes them an extremely popular alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most essential items first. This typically means the top-of-the-line items for their class, then their secondary items and finally, other gear items that they will not be replacing in the near future (for example, a ring or cloak). When choosing which items to upgrade players must also be aware of the preferred statistics of their class. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for a tank player then they should consider upgrading their helm, chest and shoulders.

After they've become unusable trinkets can be upgraded to a higher level. The upgraded trinket will give you an additional 1percent bonus. However, a re-upgrade item can destroy the old trinket, unless it is saved using the Black Lion Salvage Kit or a higher-tier salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets can be more expensive than other upgrades but still cheaper than buying an entirely new trinket.
