The newest model from iRobot is its most advanced model, with features that are cutting-edge like Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology as well as future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can wash its own mop pads).

The L20 Ultra is the top-of-the high-end robot mop and vacuum. It has a number of features that are advanced and will make you forget about your chores. Similar to Ecovacs the range-topping X2 Omni and Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra, the L20 is designed to be a hands-off cleaning machine that takes the care of vacuuming and mopping, with a multi-function dock that automatically emptys the vacuum's dustbin, refills its water tank, washes and dries its mop pads.
The smart robot employs the combination of LIDAR and structured light to map out the floor plan and detect obstacles, navigating more intelligently than some of its premium rivals. It also comes with a front-mounted camera that can detect hazards in real-time, though this wasn't 100% reliable in our tests and could be confused with power cords or obstructions.
The vacuum cleaner comes with an maximum suction of 7,000 Pascals which is more than enough to accomplish the task. It also has an attribute called "Intelligent Dirt Detection", that regulates the power of the vacuum and adjusts cleaning robot mop and vacuum frequency for various areas of the house depending on how dirty the areas are.
