Say "Yes" To These 5 Item Upgrade Tips
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its stats base and often increases its other features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.
For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, like armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced by an identical item and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't keep the quality of the original item and any resources wasted aren't refunded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item of equipment for example, increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power boost mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To produce them, you'll need a higher-quality token to reroll. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next Success result is rerolled. This helps you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they display a full description and icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop can swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
In the course of a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones which increase the value of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. They can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear players must first find the item upgrader mod they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade items, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements have been fulfilled, the player may then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the longevity of the item. It's an excellent choice for those who wish to gain an advantage in combat but don't want to burden their wallets. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item to a new item upgrader kit by clicking the "transfer" tab.
The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for new players. There are a variety of ways to obtain the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally players can take apart higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets players increase the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It's done by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will gain an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item upgrades has been attained.
Items with upgraded base stats will display the blue icon in their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to one item at a time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a certain quantity of items to be used, as well as an initial amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. When players have enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. Also, when an item is on a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to the track will be offered at a discount.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to offer an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained through quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs that can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade Tokens.
The upgrade items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the quality item. The upgrades can be acquired from various sources in the game, including through crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an item, it can't be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components include additional modifiers that can increase the stats of an item.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and provides an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get a perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will place an item in your inventory once you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close you are towards finishing the upgrade items. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
