However, unlike the i7+ and other top rated robots we test the i3+ does not have a feature for avoiding obstacles which means it can get stuck on things like socks or power cords and it may have trouble in navigating through transitions between surfaces like hardwood to rug.
iRobot suggests cleaning the area around the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes putting away any toys or other items it may encounter. It's also an excellent idea to keep the bin and filter clear so they do not become blocked by dirt. If the i3+'s internal bin is empty or the battery is not fully charged, it returns to the docking station, and it automatically empties the dirt into the station’s external dustbin. It then continues cleaning where it began. The i3+ EVO's batteries last for approximately an hour and a half continuous use. It takes about three hours to fully recharge.
2. Roomba by iRobot
The iRobot i7+ is an excellent model from iRobot's flagship line, and it comes with the most recent features. The Roomba i7+ can keep up to 10 floor plans and their names thanks to Imprint Smart Mapping, which lets it identify rooms to clean them more efficiently. It also works with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning tasks and control your robot with voice or via the app.
The i7+ is more efficient and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from all surfaces, including carpeting. The biggest benefit over the eufy, is its self-emptying dustbin that eliminates a major cause of maintenance and cuts down on recurring costs.
We were also awestruck by the i7+’s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot on how to begin, stop, or pause cleaning sessions and also to move around the room and even vacuum a specific area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was easy and straightforward using the iRobot Home app. Once connected we were able to use the i7+'s voice commands, such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options to manage the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
In a world of cordless vacs that look like minivans or buses, this tiny Dyson model feels like an old-fashioned sports car. It's powerful and has features to replace a stand-up vacuum for many households, but it also fits perfectly next to a coffee table or on shelves where you can move it around like the magic device.
The V10 is powered by a 7-cell, high-energy lithium-ion battery that can provide continuous, non-fading power for 60 minutes. The sophisticated whole-machine filter system traps allergens, then lets cleaner air into your home. The specially designed head utilizes stiff nylon bristles that penetrate deep into carpets and pick up large crumbs or fine dust. It comes with three suction settings to meet the task that is being completed. It is able to swiftly switch from best floor vacuum robot vacuum to handheld vacuum, and vice versa.

Its navigation system is smart and uses iAdapt to stay clear of obstacles and navigate your home, but it lacks the mapping capabilities of more sophisticated models like our top choices, the i3+ EVO and j7+ series. This means that it can sometimes get stuck on things like phone cords or furniture that isn't in good condition, and often will run out of battery before making it back to its base.
The Xiaomi Mi robot vacuum is superior to the Roomba 694 in many ways because it has fewer parts that require regular cleaning, is fitted with an allergen-trapping HEPA filter, has lower recurring costs, has more advanced automation capabilities and does a better job moving itself. It also has a bigger dustbin and charges quicker.
The eufy RoboVac X8 has a superior battery life than the Roomba. It also has physical boundaries and can be controlled by your smartphone's voice assistant. It is also more robust, has a more powerful motor, and is more effective on low-pile and bare floors.
5. Samsung Jet Bot AI+
