5 Item Upgrade Projects For Any Budget
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired, such as armor, weapon or ring. This swaps the current item for another similar item with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original equipment's condition and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of an item that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment using three attributes that include physical power, magical power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade items elevates the item to higher quality. To create them, you need a higher-quality token for rerolling. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
As opposed to other tokens or markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next successful result is rerolled. This helps to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of each preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they show an image and description of the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.
During a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase an item's level by increasing its stats and attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. These stones can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's current level and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. This is a great way for players who wish to gain an advantage in battle but don't want to spend a lot of money. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are many ways to acquire these stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition, players can break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume upgrade materials and grant the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in that particular area. This process continues until the item is at its highest level.
Items with upgraded base stats will display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item upgrading at the same time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a particular number of items to be applied and an appropriate level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item upgrader that they wish to upgrade. On the right, previews show what the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when is a player has enough resources will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum level that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. When a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to give an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this can cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary based on the kind of item but generally, you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
Item upgrade components can be slotted into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide added effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is placed in an item it isn't able to be removed or substituted without restriction, however the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that could further enhance the stats of the item.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases defense base and gives an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve a perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've met the required requirements for an upgrade, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will update to indicate how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
