World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses

The item upgrade is a type of enchantment that increases the stats in certain weapons or armor. This includes tertiary stats such as Leech or Speed.

A special item for evolution that allows Porygon to transform into Porygon2. This item can be found at Pokestops or Gyms.

Universal upgrades can be used on any type of equipment and offer fewer benefits than other components that are equipment type specific to the equipment type.

Leveling

Upgrades allow players to upgrade items by increasing their levels. The level increase also boosts the item's "guaranteed" bonuses. Each level upgrade adds an additional bonus based on tier and increases a stat by +3. These bonuses range from +3 to a +1 bonus to a random buff.

Each item is limited to a particular number of upgrades. After the upgrade, the item can be changed into a higher-tiered item that has the same or greater value.

This method is beneficial for players who wish to purchase equipment with a certain level of stats prior acquiring an item that is new. Transfer is user-friendly and lets players not waste upgrades materials.

Upgrade materials can be gathered by a player as they clear content. They can be used to improve or replace an item. Each item requires a specific kind of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction Stones, while armor requires Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. When an item is upgraded, these materials are changed in their names. For instance, Stone Fragments becomes Stones and Harmony Shards becomes Life Shards.

It is essential to upgrade items to increase the performance of a character. However it is also crucial to think about how much it will cost. The cost of upgrading an item can be quite a bit of gold that could have been better spent on new gear. This is why it's a good idea to upgrade the most essential items in any given situation.

This typically means upgrading the weapon first, then the legs and chest before the helm. Upgrade trinkets now if you have the money to do this. This will maximize their proc potential. For instance, a premium Throne of Thunder trinket may be worth upgrading to get more damage that its procs can bring. Some trinkets, however, are not worth upgrading until they can offer an upgrade that is significant in the specific build. This is especially true for breakpoint equipment that is used to boost stats such as IAS or FHR.

Rerolling

Rerolling is a technique that allows players to change the stats of the weapon, armor or ring based on the kind. It is a way to add new bonuses or replace existing ones. It can also be used to change the item upgrader kit (this post)'s power base.

Rerolling is an effective way to increase your power in the early phases of the game, it's not a mandatory part of the process. Once you've reached the level 6 upgrade goal, it's usually best to reroll and discover the most powerful upgrades or save the funds for the next set of items. This will help you build an impressive team at the time you get to your goal of upgrading to level 9.

Rerolling is similar to the level up system. Reroll tokens can be used to remove a Level Up option from your item and exchange it for another. However unlike Level Up, reroll tokens don't reset the item's level. This means that when you reroll an upgraded item upgrader, it won't be at that level and won't have its added bonus.

Players can also make use of the special mechanic Eliminate, to remove any Level Up option they have on their weapons or equipment. This is useful when you have a bad gacha or need to roll an item that has five stars. To do this, you will require an account, or sign up through social media.

Additionally, there's an Occultist in every town which can be visited to alter a weapon's or armor's Aspects, stats, or attributes. This is helpful if you want to improve an epic five-star unit, or when your four-star elite character is giving you trouble.

Rerolling tokens are available by completing certain quests. They can be purchased from the Occultist for 300 gold or you can find them in the holozon boxes which are dropped after having completed certain dungeons. You can roll any armor, weapon or ring by moving the icon on the page of your unit with the lock to the desired slot.

Sets

A set is a collection of items that share some similarity. Sets are used every day. For example an egg dozen or a group of friends. They are helpful because they allow you to organize things, and operations such as intersection, union and difference can help you to manage them effectively. Sets can be used in a variety of ways, including arranging music on a play list or classifying students based on their grades.

In Nioh the game uses Sets to provide special effects when players are wearing pieces of a set of armor. These bonuses, referred to Set Bonuses, are similar and sometimes better than Effects. Although it's not clear in-universe why the armor sets have to be worn together in order to create these extra effects, they do give an interesting change of pace when playing the game. The armor sets that come with Set Bonuses can be found in numerous locations around Hyrule like the Dark Moon Temple and Twilight Temple.

Each piece of equipment in a Set includes a set of Set bonuses that go along with it. You can determine which ones these are by hovering over the item and looking at the tooltip at the bottom. The Set Bonuses will show in the form of a red box.

Certain Set Bonuses are exclusive to a particular piece of equipment. For example, if you have the complete Phantom Armor set you will receive +8 defense (compared to the normal +3 defense included in the majority of gear). Other sets are available only through specific quests or buying them from the Auction House.

It is possible to receive Set Bonuses for multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously. For instance, if own the entire Kestra's Descent set and the parts that match from the Twinblade of Shadow you will receive the + version of that set's bonus when you match it.

Unlike Effects which change every when you upgrade them, Set Bonuses remain the same even as the individual pieces of equipment they are connected to increase in. If an item's exemplar is to be too low, then the set bonus won't work.

Set bonuses

Set bonuses are special effects which can be found on an item set, and provide an advantage to the player in combat. They give a certain amount of a particular type of stat, for example weapon damage, or defenses, or even resistances. However, they do not stack, and only one will be active at any given time. The amount of a stat is determined by the number of pieces of the set have been used which means you can have three chests and one armor and four weapons for instance, however only the one with the highest bonus will be of benefit to you.

They generally boost the primary stats of a piece, however they also boost secondary stats too. Defence bonuses increase three defence positions and two kinds of defenses. For example a five-piece Hundings Rage set will give you 400 defense in your equipment. This is a huge increase in your gear, specifically as melee characters.

This is an excellent feature and one of the most popular in the game. There are currently only a few sets of gear have set bonuses, and they are only available in the Test Realm, but expect the number to increase when the update goes live. For instance, the extremely popular 7 school-specific Dragoon's gear will be getting its bonus added to it when the update hits Live.

While Set Bonuses don't stack within the same set, they can stack with other sets. This is ideal for players who want to make the most efficient combination of sets. However, it requires a bit of planning. Set bonuses only affect the shell (not the armoring or mods) of an piece of equipment, so you need to be careful when placing them.

It is important to know that the strength of the bonus of a set will not change even if your exemplar level is higher than three levels below the minimum required for an Enhancement. This rule does not apply to Purple (Very rare) Sets, PvP Sets and Archetype Origin Sets. Their set bonuses will be in effect regardless of the exemplar level.
