Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase weapons, armor, tools, and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased from NPCs of item upgraders for various currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be used on any weapon, tool, or armor using an button, which will display an item's preview at its next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the item upgrader kit slot and the current item level and the weapon's price is higher than gloves or bracers, for instance. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Certain upgrades provide discounts on Flightstones.
