iRobot recommends clearing areas that the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, including putting away any clutter or toys it may encounter. It's also a good idea to keep the dust bin and filter clean so they do not become blocked by dirt. If the i3+'s internal bin is empty or the battery is low it returns to the docking station and automatically empties the dirt into the station’s external dustbin. It then continues cleaning from where it began. The battery's life span is approximately an hour-and-a-half of continuous usage. It takes 3 hours to charge.

2. iRobot Roomba i7+

The iRobot i7+ is the top model in iRobot's flagship line, and it comes with the most recent features. It is self-charging and self-navigating, but the most important feature is its self-emptying bin. This will eliminate the need for regular maintenance.

The Roomba I7+ is able to make rooms more efficient maps using Imprint Smart Mapping. It also integrates with iRobot Home to schedule cleaning tasks, and you can control your robot via the app or via voice.

The i7+ is more efficient and more maneuverable in our tests compared to the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from any surface including carpeting. The main advantage it has over the Eufy is the self-emptying bin which removes major maintenance sources and reduces the cost of maintenance.

We were also amazed by the i7+'s integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services which we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning sessions, move itself around the room and sweep the area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. We were able, once connected, to voice commands to the i7+ like "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options for managing the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

Its navigation system is smart and uses iAdapt technology to steer clear of obstacles and guide you through your home. It's not equipped with the mapping capabilities of more advanced models, including our top picks, the i3+EVO and j7+ Series. Because of this, it may get stuck on things like phone cords or low furniture, and it often will run out of battery before making it back to its original location.
