Upgrades can boost the power of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations applied.

For instance, the top shield of racial violence Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired, such as an armor, weapon, or ring. This swaps the current item for one similar item with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original item's level, and any resources wasted won't get compensated.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests, or purchased at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item such as increasing its damage.

Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power increases the damage done by weapons and melee attacks, while spell power improves mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To produce them, you need an upgrade level reroll token. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next Success is rerolled. This allows you to not waste upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of each preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they are open they will display a complete description and an icon for the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop can trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

Growthstones

This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for players who are new to the game. There are several ways to obtain them. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is achieved by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will receive a higher level. This process continues until the item is at its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one Best item upgrader at once. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items and a minimum level of equipment.

When an item reaches its highest level, upgrades will not be available to it. Once a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be put into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. upgrade item components can be changed with new ones. However, this can cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain stats of weapons and armor they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item level upgrade will vary based on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the level of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade Item element is inserted into an item, it isn't able to be removed or changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of an item.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases defense base and gives an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire", however, increases weapon damage.

Certain items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats and more because it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

When you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item level upgrade. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon), the tier of the item and the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

If you've fulfilled the requirements for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will be updated to show how close you are to completing it. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
