iRobot recommends you clear out areas where the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, including putting away any toys or clutter it may come across. In our testing the i7+ performed more agile and faster than our runner-up, the eufy RoboVac G30, and it removed large chunks of pet hair from all surface types, including carpeting. Its biggest advantage over the eufy it self-empties its dust bin that eliminates a major cause of maintenance and cuts down on the cost of maintenance.

We were also awestruck by the i7+'s integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services, which we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning routines and to move around the room, and even vacuum the area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was easy and straightforward using the iRobot Home app. Once connected, to voice commands to the i7+, like "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom."
