If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors then a hybrid is the best option. This type of robot typically comes with a built-in tank for water, meaning they can both vacuum and mop your home simultaneously. They also come with many additional features, including smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they can be expensive at retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock makes several of our top robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ does not perform to the standards. It's their most affordable auto-empty model. While it lacks some of the features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's a great option if you're willing sacrifice a little to save hundreds of dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles like wall legs and table legs, which makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in getting rid of dust bunnies which is a problem which many robot vacuums often fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is superb, with only a few mishaps along walls or in corners.

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly intelligent in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design is one of the best in the industry however, it's costly.

It is a relatively small base station that looks great and is able to be concealed when not in use. But the station's biggest selling point is how it automates various tasks and functions that most other robots will leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's the only robovacs that I've tested that does an excellent job of collecting debris from plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially when it comes navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs. This means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of your home. It's not able to climb stairs as well as some competitors, for instance and doesn't come with an dock that allows the user to set up an exclusive cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what separates it from other models. It uses an integrated map to create a picture of the immovable items in its path. It can remember the items it has cleaned and where it cannot access. It will return to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning the area it left.

The eufy G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower cost of operation. It charges faster, offers the same battery life and performs better on unfinished floors or low-pile carpet. It has a larger dust bin, which doesn't require more emptying. It also has boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't have to be empty as often and it's less difficulty handling bulky products like cereal.
