Upgrades can sometimes increase the power of a piece and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.

The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired like a weapon, armor, or rings. The item is replaced with another of the same kind, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. However, they do not retain the level of the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.

The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or bought from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of the equipment, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can roll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by melee and weapons, while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.

There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a common item upgrading. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the space until the next Success result is rerolled. This helps you save upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they are open, they display a full description and the icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.

As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters which blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones which increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. They can also be purchased by players who sign daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's levels and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade item an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.

After deciding what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free and does not impact the durability of the item. It's an excellent option for players who want to gain an advantage in combat, but don't want to strain their wallets. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for players who are new to the game. There are a variety of methods to obtain them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets players increase the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is accomplished by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to a higher level. This process can continue until the item reaches its highest level.

Items with upgraded base stats will display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be added to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.

The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left one is where players can place equipment that needs that they wish to upgrade, and the right shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the item's statistics.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense and gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand, increases weapon damage.

Some items benefit from upgrading less for their increased stats, but more because it allows players to gain the most value out of a perfect roll on the item level upgrade. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.

The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading the game will put the item upgrades in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to show how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
