It can get stuck on power cords and socks and have difficulty navigating between different surfaces like carpet and hardwood.

iRobot suggests that you clean the area in which the i3+ EVO vacuums prior to using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or other items it may encounter. You should also keep the dustbin and filter clean to prevent them from becoming clogged. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is empty or the battery is depleted, it returns to the docking station and emptys the dirt into the docking station's external dustbin. Then it continues cleaning from where it started. The battery's lifespan is around an hour and a half of constant usage. It takes about three hours to charge.

We were also impressed by the i7+’s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot to start, stop, or pause cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room, and to vacuum a particular area.
