Although it might not come with some of the luxurious features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) but it's an excellent option if you are willing to make some compromises to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles like tables and walls, which makes it a great choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to cleaning dust bunnies, which is a place where many cheaper robot vacuums can really be a bit sloppy. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is superb and has very few missed corners and on walls.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled by the buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. Through the app, you can begin and stop cleanings, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map or change the labels of rooms.

The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, which means it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain areas of your home. It's also not able to climb stairs as well as other models and doesn't come with a dock that can create a cleaning area for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need a robot vacuum that does everything.

If you're looking to save some cash or simply don't care about the limitations of this robot There are many other great choices on the market, including a lot of eufy models for substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance, is cheaper and offers a similar in-app experience with more features, including stair climbing, a full-function dock, and a better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.
