Is Item Upgrade As Crucial As Everyone Says

The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats, and sometimes increases its other features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.

The racial Shield elite Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, like armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item for another of the same type with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't keep the quality of the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of an item for example, increasing its damage.

Players can reroll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by weapons and melee attacks and spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next success result is to be rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the beginning of each Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.

In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This affects which blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. They are also available to players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players first need to find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's levels and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. When the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item level upgrade. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an excellent method for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without straining their bank account. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item upgrading to an entirely new piece of equipment.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It's done by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and grant the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in the area. This process continues until the item reaches its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component requires the purchase of a certain amount of items and a minimum equipment level.

The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the first is where players can add equipment that needs that they wish to upgrade, and the right shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once the player has enough materials will start the upgrading process.

An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the stats of the base item will increase by an amount of. The maximum level of an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum level, it will no longer have the option to upgrade. Likewise, once an item reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to give an added bonus or effect when the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs that can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Upgrades to items allow players to boost certain stats of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary depending on its type however, you'll generally require Dilithium as well as a number Upgrade tokens.

The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This will give them more effects or an improved level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from various sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been added to an object it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the item's statistics.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and also gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire" however increases damage from weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get the perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor) and the tier of that item, the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

Once you've met the required requirements for an upgrade, the game will place the Best item upgrader in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to show how close to completing the upgrade.
