Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric statistics on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like crit chance and PvE Damage.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into weapons, armor, and trinkets to provide a stat bonus or extra effect while they're in use. Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment that has a slot to accommodate them; the item must have been at the very least upgraded to blue level to allow a component to be used.
