Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.

Reroll Tokens

Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.

Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power increases the damage done by melee and weapons, while spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give players additional health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces The reroll marker is left on the space until the next successful result is repeated. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs that can be removed and replaced at will.

Requirements

Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item upgrader but generally, you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

Item upgrade components can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide added effects or a higher quality item. The upgrades can be acquired from various sources in the game, including crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or retrieved from dungeons. When you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will display an in-game window that lists the required requirements. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor) the level of the item as well as the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
